Supporting Texas Students with Alamo Resources

You can make a difference in how Texas students learn about the Battle of the Alamo and the heroic actions of those who fought there. The state's Social Studies standards for 4th and 7th Grade mandate that students learn about the battle, the heroism of those who fought there, its impact on the larger Texas Revolution, and other details such as Travis's "Victory or Death" letter and significant historical figures. What many teachers lack is a tool that immerses students in the story using the technology they expect, which allows them to see the Alamo compound as it appeared in 1836, and is coupled with additional resources and curricular materials based on educational best practices.

The Institute for Learning Perspectives seeks to change that by providing teachers and their students access to QuantumERA's award-winning augmented reality apps Experience Real History: Alamo Edition, additional exclusive video content, and standards-based curricular materials of the highest quality. To do so, we need your help to cover the licensing and distribution costs associated with placing the resources in the hands of educators and students across the state. Based on experience to date, these cutting-edge resources are appreciated by teachers and awe-inspiring to students.
