Familiar Stories with New Dimensions AR and VR Bring New Perspectives to Familiar Stories In our constant effort to serve you and your students better, we have added new content to the Resource Center that deals with familiar stories, have offers to save you money, and provided ways you can help us help you with minimal effort on your part. Let Perspectives XR, a non-profit dedicated to engaging students and educators in understanding various perspectives across time and place through the humanities and immersive technologies, help you learn about the exciting resources that exist. 
Classic Stories With New Perspectives Some literary pieces have immense staying power for a wide variety of reasons ranging from the unique way in which the moral of the story is delivered to enduring creativity that allows numerous generations to find themselves in the piece. Whether it is the works of William Shakespeare for older learners, Little Red Riding Hood or The Three Little Pigs for the younger ones, or Alice in Wonderland for those in the middle, AR and VR have found creative ways to add new ways of experiencing these classic pieces. From standalone apps to the proliferation of AR-enabled books, immersive technology is adding to the way we experience literature. With Shakespeare, one can explore the settings of his plays, see 3D objects he references, explore the Globe Theater, or step into a play as a cast member. AR-enabled books of children's classics like Little Red Riding Hood are available from multiple publishers, such as Sawsan Tech and Little Hippo Books. Lastly, fanciful tales like Alice and Wonderland are ideal candidates for the immersive technology which can add new ways of envisioning the characters in action like those from Avatarico and Kreativitetsbanken.
